The evaluation unit, which performs all switching functions, is mounted in the engine room, which is not in the explosion-proof area. Evaluation unit and barriers are compactly mounted in a splash-proof housing. The input filter of the evaluation unit is matched to the function of the barriers and prewired. Only the connection of the sensors takes place on site. When selecting the sensors, make sure that the connecting cables are max. Are 2.0 meters long. If necessary, use pressure-encapsulated enclosures, which are not included in the scope of delivery. The cable extensions can not be made via the suspension cable, as a special connection cable is used. If other lines are used, measured value tolerances occur which lead to incorrect measurements.
