The company was founded in the year 2000 as an owner based individual enterprise. For the selection of the suppliers, as well as for the acquisition of the customers, it was advantageous that the company founder had many contacts, which he found in his long-time practice and the permanent presence at international events and trade fairs. With the start of the home office it was time to look for suitable office space. As part of the move, the sole proprietorship was then converted into a GmbH. Shortly after the founding of the GmbH, the company was rewarded with the Founder's Prize in a competition. With experience in the elevator market, the technical know-how of the manufacturer Dinacell and the interest of a major international elevator manufacturer, the first single sensor for load measurement on elevator ropes was developed. Shortly thereafter, the first speech unit modules were placed on the market. To improve the recording quality, a freelance sound engineer could be recruited. The way to their own recording studio was paved with the international artists, who were standing by a music school. Shortly thereafter, the first trainees and consequently the first trainee were hired. With the expansion of the location in Berlin, the course was set for the development of the first LED lighting systems. Today, AVERDI supplies special solutions for LED lighting systems and Cybershop distributes the most common LED lamps in various qualities. From lighting systems in private home areas to workplace lighting for offices and production facilities to hall and street lighting, AVERDI offers cost-effective solutions. In 2010 the location in Berlin became too small and the move to East Frisia was planned. As part of the change of location, the company was again renamed as a sole proprietorship for economic reasons. The restart went smoothly and was rewarded with the loyalty of the customers as well as the acquisition of new customer groups.
